As a forklift & reachtruck driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks and preparing pallets for loading.
Your tasks:
- You will pick orders using an electric pallet truck, forklift or reachtruck and handheld scanner according to order lists and company procedures
- You will prepare shipments including proper packing, securing and labeling of products
- You will drive carefully and safely between the warehouse, expedition area and loading docks
- You will load and unload trucks according to the delivery and shipment schedule
- You will check products against documentation and maintain order and safety in the workplace
- You will be working in a clean environment with a temperature – around 5 degrees
Requirements:
- Good English in speaking and writing (B1/B2)
- You can work well independently, but also in a team
- You follow the procedures and rules regarding safety
- You can adapt quickly to a new environment
- Drivers licence is a big plus
- Forklift & Reachtruck certificate valid for at least 2 years
Our offer:
- Gross hourly wage starting with : €14,98
- Two shifts: 06:00-15:00/15:00-00:00
- Shift allowances:
- 00:00-06:00 -> 145%
- 06:00-18:00 -> 100%
- 18:00-00:00 -> 135%
- Workplace: Nijmegen
- The temperature inside the halls is around 10 degrees
- Stability of a permanent full-time job, with 40 hours of work per week
- Transportation assistance, including rental bikes or company cars (based on location)
